On our wedding day we left for the outer banks, Ocracoke. I told my new bride (the real residents have a bankers accent). She looked at me and said (Oh do they all work at banks?)
Bye the way welcome to the site, I'm new here too.

Ocracoke residents have a mysterious accent as do people from Wanchese.
I've been here since 97'.
If it weren't for the people coming to the Outer Banks from other places, this area would be nothing more than a poor, remote fishing village with a large volume of inbreeding....just the way it used to be.;)

Watch out for drivers that jump the curb.....Twilli lost his license, but Twilli's brother is Judge and got it back
