Oven venting and fresh air intakes, but a reason to terminate condensate drains with a 90 degree elbow turned down.

Besides the obvious reason that it prevents water from running along the under side of the pipe, the missing 90 also makes a cool place to get out of the heat for a frog. By the time the water makes it out of the attic its up close to 80F, so the frog is enjoying a little spa.

Well those little buggers have quite a defense mechanism, toxic piss, my nephew learned that one the hard way, kind of like a dog biting a porcupine.

The drain from my office plugged with slime, and will keep plugging with slime. The ductboard ducts get saturated from carried over moisture and it rains on my new ceiling before any water makes it to the auxiliary drain pan.

I did not evict the frog. He was in the drain of an adjacent office, a realtor who is also the property manager for the building. I figured if they get a wet ceiling too they will be more sympathetic to my cause. I just want the green light and I will fix my system myself and take it off the rent. The landlord though prefers the economical services of Joe Blowango.

My existing system is too small even right after being charged up. A problem is a lack of insulation. I have added insulation to the attic as it is. The only way I can complete the insulation where it still needs to be upgraded would be to block the access to the air handler.

The clogged drain has given me the idea of an ultra sonic drain cleaner. Maybe I can get my pal Xavier to devolop and patent my idea for me.

Otherwise I could conrer the market on paysons Drainblaster 2000s down here :)

Just had a mental picture of the little frog getting hit in the ass with 125 PSI of nitrogen & water coming from a drain blaster.

Would knock the piss right out of him when he goes rocketing towards the adjacent wall. :lachen:

I know it is still early, lack of caffeine. :D
