When I first started in the biz they sent me to do a start up of several splits on a commercial building, after they installed the condensers they put the boxes back over the units because they were stuccoing the building, I pulled one of the boxes off and a snake flew up and hit me right in the head, scared the crap out of me, it scurried off into the woods behind the building thankfully

Yea ,where did you get my gauges and my drill?
We deal with scorpions and spyders in Texas. I hate snakes though ,only seen 1 in 20+ years and it was in Old Coleman Polar Prince..
I am wishing for the HVAC GOD to bring me :http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/2776/40802withbootaf6.jpg

I see scorpions and black widows all the time.
But I was not prepared for what you saw in the pic.
I love my Bosch pocket driver. The gauges are OK.
But if your waiting for someone to give you a set of Digi - cools:lachen::lachen::lachen:

i have pulled rats squirrels and a few other creatures out of condensors but the only snake i have seen was coiled up in a set of heat strips, my personal favorite was the dead bird in the vent pipe

its frogs and lizards here. Snakes don't bother me but we have no poisonous ones here. Some big ass centipedes though.

Trust me Aircooled: After about a week of using that gauge set, you will NEVER use an analog again. It is worth every penny of the price IMO.

Found 2 mice in a humidifier, way beyond dead. The customer tried to find the source of the smell a year and a half before.

Yikes man! I bet the snake went in after the mice!
Speaking of drills. I finally got myself a new drill that i was drooling over...

It's an 18 Volt Lithium Ion Impact Drill. You have to be careful how much you pull the trigger on one of these bad boys!
You don't have to discharge the batteries before recharging and they last 4 times longer. And it weighs far lass than a 18 Volt Ryobe or Dewalt.
Today I walked up to a rooftop unit with large 3/8" head screws. These screws were already tight. And I put it on tighten (not loosen) and within a second it will rip them loose and strip out the holes for you!
When installing your typical 1/4" and 5/16" head screws you have to get used to tapping the trigger. It only takes a quick second to remove and install screws with one of these! :D

I like that my DeWalt doesn't rip out screws. But lighter weight would be nice any time.
