I've often thought about setting up a tool bag just for pneumatic systems.

Saw that homepot had a 10" Husky Electrician's bag on sale with free shipping, so grabbed one.

Now I can carry my thermostat calibration kit, 2 and 3 way valve kits, DA and RA thermostats and tubing, fittings, etc. for the buildings that have VAV systems only.

It'll be fun fine tuning it for that.

Leave my CLC bag set up for RTU's/splits/package units.

See, old guy can learn to work smarter...

No cart, no truck, just my shoulder and 2 city blocks to cover.
12 buildings, Mental ward, dorms, and a high rise apartment.
Got tired of going to the far end of the campus carrying tools I'd never use.
Asked for a 'Gator' or golf cart, but just got 'that look'.

How do you explain to someone going through withdrawals, that 80° for most people is not 'Too Cold'?
Show some effort at the thermostat and say, " there you go, should get better. "

Man I know your pain, sucks to walk a half a mile to work on something and have everything but the right thing

Those Gators are the handiest thing they have ever come up with, my buddy has a Mule, and when he bough it I said he was nuts to give $8,000 for a go cart, well when times were good and we needed tax deductions I bought a Gator, then bought my wife one we use the shit out of them, shit I need to put new tires on mine, last spring when a phenomom called rain happened I though the 4 WD wasn't working, it was, my front tires are bald

But they are kinda pricey ours are diesel and I think they were like $11,000 each

yea, hauling a jug of 22, gauges and tool bag a block or so can take it out of you.
Not bitchin', I took the job, just wishing they would give us a little more respect.

Most of the guys I work with are a step above filter changers, one doesn't even have his 608 card.
( they won't let him take calls to any building other than the ones on full VAV.

Just saying, I get most of the repeat calls. Have a meeting with the big boss tomorrow morning when I come off shift.
Hope to clear some stuff up or might be...

I read here years ago about a guy that had to work in a morgue. It was too silent. A tool dropping out of your bag would spook you.

Let alone having the undertaker tap you on the shoulder asking " How's it going?"

I don't know of a tool to carry to kill something thats already dead.
I just bet the drawers come open east to west.

Cooties drawers go up and down. Like fall down.
That reminds me of his Christmas gift.. I was thinking about suspenders for him...
Now I think a noose would fit better..
But then fethers make me sneeze a lot.

Bob, check it out... code should say that the drawers are east to west.
I may be wrong, but I may be right. There is a reason for everything under the sun.
