HVAC Apps

I saw in Benders thread that jpsmith1cm has hvac apps. So I looked it up on my Droid and there are a few. Do you guys use any? I saw the hvac buddy and think its for beginners, is my evaluation true? Also I like the pt chart app. Gonna download it.

I even saw apps for controlling your tstat if it is wifi capable. Damn I want one of those tstats.

My wife just got a droid and I was really underwhelmed with the HVAC apps for it.

I'm a cheap SOB, so I haven't bought any, yet for either device. As a refer tech primarily, some of the apps really don't do anything I need them to.

The Bitzer PT app for Iphone is awesome. Doesn't look like it is on Droid's market, though.

The silverglance apps are supposed to be the good ones from what i hear. I have not tried any yet though.

I tunes has a resi load calc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,dunno if i would trust it for 35 bucks

I have the hvacmobile pt charts one and I like it. Never have to worry about losing pt charts.

I have a PT chart on my digicools.

I'll play with those others. Duct sizer might be handy.

PT chart on DC doesn't cover some of the newer refrigerants customers are starting to use in refrigeration stuff.

I run this on my Samsung Infuse with Android.

Electro Droid is nice.
Convert Droid will convert almost anything you can imagine.
Engineering Cookbook has fan laws, fluid laws, thermodynamic info and much more.

These are all free.
