    Yeah, good points Lurk.

    I wish I could get by (well, could have gotten by) with just one meter that can do it all and that I trust.

    I use a FP Sc-77, it's a solid meter and has a backlite. For me it works great 100% of the time. Been using their meters for 20 years

    I had an SC-45 that was flaky sometimes. Maybe it was that unlucky 1 in 1000.
