natural gas detectors?

what tool do u guys use for detection of natural gas? electronic type.

seriously though, it's a running joke, i have a supernatural sense of smell for hydrocarbons

i've walked next door while installing an ac to tell the neighbor their gas meter was leaking

a lit match or a canary.

I just tell the customer the gas smell is normal.

Drop a few "AA" batteries in it and boom... Electronic leak detector...

I didn't need one before but am getting ready for HC reffer since it don't stink.
I was thinking about trying a eL-320 since it says 5 ppm on low.

I used one of those. Works for r-22 leaks too.

Ive only ever used bubbles... thats about all I use for refrigerant also. I don't have problems finding leaks.
