Picked up a set of Lenox snips, and a seamer. (I seem to need to coolect sets). They kinda look cool. Been sitting in a tool chest in the carage. Used them recently for a project. The blades are nice and sharp (although they should be, they;re new). Cuts straight and circulars well. (used left, right, and straight). Drawbacks - the handles dont seem to 'fit/hold/ handle' comfortably. After awhile of use, my hands hurt. Had to get another set to finish the task (don't remember what I grabbed - I have Craftsman, Wiss, Malco, Midwest). A big 'minus is that Lenox is Chinese made. The other brands that I own are all USA made. My 'review' is that Lenox sheetmetal tools are not worth buying - unless you're a tool collector. Once again, it is worth it to buy domestic made product.
X2 Midwest are the best snips made nowdays, Malco sucks with gusto now But I would love to find a pair of Wiss W17 pattern snips, I finally found some about 20 yrs ago, and a bottle of soap I was using in a pinch for leak detector leaked on them and just ate the damn things up, then I found out they quit making them, damn shame, I loved the way they felt and cut
