dont know why its so hard for them to understand

if an rru averages 30 to 35 degree delta T
and you set up your heating set point at 64.5 degrees
and your hot gas reheat deadband at 6 degrees
that means when your supply temp reaches 58.5 degrees
your reheat kicks in and wont drop out till your supply reaches
    70.5 degrees
so with a 30 degree split
    at 88.5 ambient
    your reheat kicks in
    DUH
    do you get it now

    lower your heating setpoint
    raise your hgrhdb

    oh wait
cant do that without first having months of meetings

then just leave me the hell alone
I told you how to fix it
    but you wont f***in listen

    you got that right Bro,

they should just tie the reheat into the rh sensor
    like everyone else does

RRU's are a tricky little beast, gotta go through the set up menu. but if it's on a RedLobster, you gotta deal with the Trane/Darden natl. accts. and get the set points from them. If they're controled by CPS (or what ever the hell their name is) the RRU is actually controlled by their set points and the Ansel system lock out. Big ****ed up deal if you ask me.

actually Carolina Panels are pretty easy to figger out
I deal with Jimmy at C.P.I. all the time
    hell of a nice guy
we build almost all the Darden restaurants
just wondering when they will start using R.R.U.'s on the Olive Gardens
they already have 10 pounds of shiat in a 5 pound sack on those.
funny thing is that whenever I walk into a Darden build
the Darden construction Manager always tells the sparky to stop f-in with the ansul panel
and to let me wire it
seems that sparky's cant figger out that when a schematic has little lines above a switch
it means that it shows the system in the energized position LOL
I gave up trying to make them understand that shiat years ago
just much easier for me to change my wires from n/c
    to n/o

I actually prefer dealing with Marta

and why is it that the Trane 10 ton humiditrols always leak condensate?
we found this issue years ago
    told the factory
took the factory 2 years to fix
now they send a retrofit kit with each one
I called them and told them that I was not putting that damn kit on in the field
they need to do it at the factory
or send a Trane rep to do it
I pay for working equipment, not field retrofits dammit
but I guess I am lucky they at least have TXV's installed
built many a Dicks sporting goods where the Trane units did not come with TXV's

Trying to find product data sheets for RRU's (yes for Darden applications). Search Trane site for literature and "RRU" returns no results. Why would that be????

Did manage to find a submittal sheet on the web for a 181 (15-ton) unit. Need same for a 301.... Anybody?
